Lou Malice has worked in the field of medical device manufacturing, research and development, supply chain, quality and regulatory for more than 20 years.

Most recently, Mr. Malice served as Co-CEO of a successful start up, American Breast Care, LP, which he founded in January 2003. Prior to his work at American Breast Care, Mr. Malice served as Division President of Coloplast Corporation, a subsidiary of Coloplast AS (Denmark), a $1 billion manufacturer of ostomy, continence, wound care, skin care and breast care products. As head of the $35 million breast care division, Mr. Malice led a group that designed, developed and produced products for the global market leader.

From 1985 to 1993, Mr. Malice was employed by Amoena Corp, rising from Engineering Manager to the position of Vice President of Operations. Under his leadership, Mr. Malice facilitated the growth of Amoena from a small manufacturer to market leader that was acquired by Coloplast for $78 million.

Mr. Malice holds a B.Sc. in Industrial Management from Georgia Institute of Technology.

Roman Bukary

Mr. Bukary spearheads NetSuite’s manufacturing and wholesales distribution industries. Prior to NetSuite, he was Vice President of Marketing at an analytics start-up, where he was responsible for marketing and business development. Mr. Bukary spent a number of years at SAP, where he served as Vice President of the Global Partner Ecosystem Group, responsible for SAP’s numerous strategic technology partnerships. Earlier at SAP, he launched the company’s analytic application business after holding positions in composite applications and business intelligence solutions marketing. Mr. Bukary was a co-founding executive and Vice President of Product Marketing at Rearden Commerce, a services procurement firm. Prior to Rearden, he was part of Informatica Corporation’s management team, building product- and industry-marketing teams.

Mr. Bukary has broad experience in building and leading product and industry marketing groups, corporate strategy, and product management with companies including Baan and Parametric Technology Corporation. He started his career as an aeronautical design engineer at Pratt & Whitney, UTC, and holds M.S. and B.S. degrees in mechanical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI).

David R. Brousell

David R. Brousell has been Editor-in-Chief of Managing Automation since 1998. Brousell started his career in technology journalism in 1978 at Electronic News. In 1985, he joined Datamation Magazine, and was named Editor-in-Chief in 1991. Brousell has covered numerous industry developments, technology shifts and major product introductions, including the mainframe era and the development of relational databases; the rise of the minicomputer; the advent of personal computing, client-server computing and the evolution of enterprise applications, and the dawn of the Internet and the worldwide web. Along the way, he has interviewed such notables as ENIAC inventor J. Presper Eckert, IBM's Thomas J. Watson Jr., Microsoft's Bill Gates, Oracle's Larry Ellison, Cincom's Tom Nies, Lotus's Mitchell Kapor, Netscape's James Barksdale, and Intel's Andrew Grove. Brousell has received numerous journalism awards, including two consecutive Jesse H. Neal Editorial Achievement Awards, the highest award for business journalism in the U.S. Under his leadership at MA, the magazine has been cited 9 times for editorial achievement.
